Product Description

The F3DIO16/801 (F3 DIO 16/8 01, part number 982200423) is a SIL3 certified mixed digital input/output remote I/O module of HIMA HIMatrix safety system, compliant with IEC 61508 and IEC 61511. This DIN rail mounted module provides 16 channels of 24VDC safety digital inputs and 8 channels of two-pole safety digital outputs. It is equipped with dual SafeEthernet ports for redundant safety network topology. It features channel-level wire break and short-circuit diagnosis and EMC protection. This distributed slave I/O module cannot run safety logic independently and communicates with HIMatrix safety CPU via SafeEthernet. It is approved for Ex Zone 2 hazardous area installation.
