CP800A is the communication processor module for ABB Symphony Plus HPC800 controller, with conformal coating. It undertakes PN800 plant network communication tasks, working paired with HC800A control CPU inside MB810A base rack. It handles high-speed redundant Ethernet data exchange between HPC800 controller, operator stations, historians and other plant controllers. It separates process logic execution and plant network communication, offloading network traffic from HC800A to improve system real-time performance and stability.
