Product Description

GE IS200SHRAH2ACC Shared Resolver Analog I/O Board

Brief Product Description

IS200SHRAH2ACC is a resolver signal processing analog board designed for GE Mark VI Speedtronic turbine control systems. It collects and processes resolver feedback signals to detect turbine shaft speed, rotor position and rotation angle. Built with isolation circuits and conformal coating, the board connects to resolver sensors and communicates with main control CPUs via the rack backplane, supporting critical speed regulation for gas and steam turbines.

Core Product Functions

  • Receive and demodulate analog resolver signals from turbine shaft position sensors
  • Calculate real-time rotor rotation angle, shaft speed and rotational direction data
  • Transmit processed speed and position digital data to Mark VI main control boards
  • Built-in signal isolation and noise suppression to resist industrial electromagnetic interference
  • Real-time self-diagnosis for resolver wire open-circuit, short-circuit and board hardware faults
  • Provide accurate speed feedback to realize closed-loop turbine speed and load control
  • Front indicator lights show power status, signal input status and board failure alarms

Application Scenarios

  • Conventional steam turbine generator Mark VI control cabinets
  • Combined cycle power plant gas turbine speed monitoring systems
  • Industrial cogeneration small turbine unit control racks
  • Petrochemical compressor drive steam/gas turbine control panels
  • Onshore oil & gas distributed power generation turbine control equipment
  • Replacement spare parts for aging GE Mark VI turbine control systems

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

  • Q: Board fault light keeps on after power on, no turbine speed signal output?
A: Check poor backplane contact, abnormal rack power supply, resolver cable short circuit or damaged internal signal circuit.
  • Q: System reports resolver open-circuit alarm but sensor is intact?
A: Inspect loose wiring terminals, broken resolver cable cores or reversed signal wiring sequence.
  • Q: Turbine speed reading jumps and fluctuates during stable operation?
A: Separate resolver signal cables from high-power power lines; check aging resolver sensors and loose wiring terminals.
  • Q: Can IS200SHRAH2ACC support hot swapping with rack powered on?
A: Hot swap is not allowed. Cut off rack power completely before removing or installing the board to avoid system speed control failure.
  • Q: Is this board available for new turbine construction projects?
A: This Mark VI legacy board has been discontinued. Only surplus and refurbished spare boards are used for maintenance of old units.
