Product Description
The GLK-300-CLS is a marine-certified signal processing unit developed by KONGSBERG, matched with KM marine automation control system. It is specially optimized for CLS (Cable Level Sensor) signal acquisition and conversion, designed for harsh marine and offshore industrial environments. The unit adopts compact DIN rail mounting structure, built-in signal isolation circuit, supports multi-channel analog level signal input, converts weak sensor signals into standard bus signals for upper RCU controller transmission, and complies with DNV marine safety certification standards.

4. Common Troubles & Issues
- Abnormal Liquid Level Readings & Signal Drift
Cause: Uncalibrated CLS sensor, damaged signal cable shielding, strong electromagnetic interference nearby. Solution: Re-calibrate sensor parameters, replace shielded cables and reinforce cabinet grounding.
- Sensor Breakpoint Fault Alarm Persists
Cause: Loose terminal wiring, broken CLS probe cable, sensor internal failure. Solution: Check wiring continuity, test sensor resistance and replace faulty level sensor.
- GLK-300-CLS Cannot Communicate with RCU Controller
Cause: Wrong module RBUS address, insufficient bus power, incompatible KM system firmware. Solution: Reset module address, check bus power supply and upgrade matching controller firmware.
- Module Power Failure & No Response
Cause: Input voltage overload, internal power circuit burnout, loose power terminals. Solution: Measure input voltage, re-tighten power wiring and replace damaged module if circuit burned.
Intermittent Signal Loss Under Vessel Vibration
Cause: Loose terminal blocks, poor cable fixation, aging internal circuit solder joints. Solution: Lock all wiring terminals, fix signal cables with cable ties and inspect internal soldering points.
