BENTLY 3500/20 125744-02 is the frame interface module (RIM) in the 3500 series mechanical protection system produced by Bently Nevada.

Function and application: As a connection bridge between the 3500/20 condition monitoring system and various field devices, it is used for data transmission and communication, supporting multiple protocols. 

It is responsible for configuring the rack and retrieving mechanical data using proprietary protocols, and is a key component for the 3500 system to communicate with external systems.

Technical parameters It supports 16-channel analog input, 16-channel digital input and 8-channel digital output. It has interfaces such as PROFIBUS DP, RS-485, Ethernet, etc. 

It supports communication protocols such as Modbus RTU, HART, Profinet, etc. The power supply is 24VDC. The power consumption is approximately 4.75W, 

the dimensions are about 19.7x10.2x2.5 inches (49.9x25.9x6.4cm), the weight is approximately 3.3 pounds (1.5kg), the storage temperature ranges from -40 °C to + 85°C, and the maximum baud rate is 38.4kbaud.

Installation requirements: It must be installed in slot 1 of the rack, adjacent to the power module. Each rack requires one of this module. 

For triple modular redundancy (TMR) configurations, the TMR version of the rack interface module needs to be used.
