Key Features and Functionality

• Wind Turbine Focus: Unlike general-purpose monitoring systems, the 60M100 is engineered to monitor specific elements of a wind turbine, including:

• Tower sway

• Main bearings and rotors

• Gearboxes (all internal bearings and gear meshes)

• Generator bearings and grounding

• Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM): The system's primary purpose is to support a CBM strategy. By continuously monitoring machine states and using advanced signal processing, it can detect potential defects months in advance of a catastrophic failure. This allows owners to schedule maintenance proactively, reducing downtime and costs.

• Advanced Signal Processing: The 60M100 uses sophisticated algorithms to extract dozens of measurements from each sensor. It is capable of taking input from various sensor types, including up to 12 dynamic channels from accelerometers and two Keyphasor signals for speed and phase reference. Its 24-bit Analog-to-Digital conversion and 40 kHz bandwidth design provide high-resolution data.

• Alarms and Communication: The system compares monitored signals with user-programmable alarm setpoints, with two levels (warning and alarm). It includes digital communication capabilities for integration with other control systems and software, typically using Modbus/TCP over two independent Ethernet ports. This allows for seamless data transfer and remote monitoring.

• Standalone or Networked: The 60M100 can be used as a standalone system or as part of a larger, networked collection of monitoring systems. It can also be integrated directly into a machine OEM's control and instrumentation package.
