Product Brief Description
Yokogawa KS1-15 is a 15-meter KS series dedicated signal cable for CENTUM VP FIO I/O modules. It connects FIO I/O cards (AAI143, AAI543, ADV151, ADV551 etc.) to matched terminal blocks such as AEA4D, ATD5A. It is a shielded multi-core cable with special KS connectors on both ends, used for analog and digital field signal wiring inside DCS cabinets and between cabinet and junction boxes.

Q: What does KS1-15 mean?
A: KS1 = standard FIO signal cable series; 15 = nominal cable length 15 meters. Other common lengths: 05,10,20,30 meters.
Q: Which modules and terminals is it compatible with?
A: It works with AAI143, AAI543, ADV151, ADV551 and matched terminals AEA4D, ATD5A with KS interface.
Q: What is the difference between KS1 and YCB301?
A: KS1 is I/O signal cable between FIO card and terminal block; YCB301 is ESB bus communication cable between ANB bus node units.
Q: Can I use ordinary multi-core shielded cable instead?
A: Not recommended. It uses special KS locking connectors and fixed pin assignment, generic cables may cause signal error or HART communication failure.
Q: Is this original Yokogawa spare accessory available?
A: It is a standard FIO wiring accessory. Original stock and refurbished units are supplied for existing CENTUM VP DCS maintenance.
