Product Functions

  • Terminate and condition MPU speed pickup signals for turbine overspeed protection
  • Receive shaft vibration, position and generator synchronizing monitoring signals
  • Provide on-board signal filtering, surge protection and fuse protection
  • Route high-speed pulse signals to the turbine protection I/O processor
  • Support multi-channel speed sensor connection for redundant overspeed detection
  • Work with TMR control racks to meet critical turbine safety protection requirements

Applications

  • Gas turbine and steam turbine overspeed protection systems in power plants
  • Generator synchronizing and shaft condition monitoring control cabinets
  • Combined-cycle unit Mark VIe control rack spare replacement and retrofit
  • Oil & gas turbomachinery safety and protection control systems
  • Legacy Speedtronic turbine control system maintenance and upgrade

FAQ

Q: What sensors does IS200TURH1BED connect to?

A: It mainly connects magnetic pickup (MPU) speed sensors for turbine overspeed monitoring, also supports shaft and sync signals.

Q: Can it be used in TMR redundant turbine racks?

A: Yes, it supports both simplex and TMR triple modular redundant configurations for high-reliability protection loops.

Q: Is this board an overspeed processing board?

A: No, it is a passive terminal board. Signal calculation and trip logic are handled by the matched turbine I/O pack.
