IS200EDEXG1BBB is GE Speedtronic Mark VI series de-excitation control board for EX2100 generator excitation control system. It executes crowbar de-excitation function, dissipates the stored magnetic energy of generator field winding during emergency trip or field breaker opening, suppresses dangerous overvoltage and protects excitation components and generator rotor. This board integrates SCR firing circuit, field current/voltage monitoring and fault detection circuits, communicating with other EX2100 boards through internal backplane connectors.
