Emerson 1C31116G04 (originally Westinghouse) is a personality module for Ovation DCS I/O assembly, dedicated for 8-channel thermocouple and millivolt low-level analog signal acquisition. It integrates built-in cold junction compensation (CJC) sensor to eliminate temperature measurement error for thermocouple signals. This personality board must be matched with corresponding Ovation electronic module and terminal base to form a complete I/O unit. It supports multiple thermocouple types and ±mV range signals, excellent common-mode noise suppression for power plant high interference environment. Emerson discontinued this legacy module, only tested surplus and refurbished units available for existing Ovation DCS maintenance and spare replacement.
