Product Description
0190-14502 is a 6U VMEbus multi-axis motion controller PCB assembly (MEI V6U/DSP) for Applied Materials Centura and Endura semiconductor platforms. It adopts Motorola 68030 and DSP architecture, supporting up to 4 axes of servo motion control. It is installed in the VME backplane rack to handle high-precision motion trajectory calculation and closed-loop control for wafer transfer robots and positioning stages.

Product Functions
- Calculates high-precision motion trajectories and generates servo commands for multi-axis synchronous movement of wafer transfer robots.
- Reads encoder position feedback signals and performs closed-loop position, speed and torque control for each axis.
- Executes soft limit and collision interlock logic to prevent mechanical impact between robot end effector, wafers and chamber fixtures.
- Communicates with chamber SBC over VME bus to receive motion recipes, upload real-time axis position and fault alarm data.
