Triconex 4610 / 4610X UCM (Unified Communication Module) is a high-reliability intelligent communication gateway for Tricon triple modular redundant SIS safety instrumented systems. It acts as the external communication interface for Triconex safety controllers, realizing bidirectional data exchange between SIS, DCS, HMI, SCADA and engineering workstations. Equipped with dual fiber Ethernet ports and four configurable RS232/RS485 serial ports, it supports multiple standard industrial protocols including Modbus RTU/TCP, TriStation, SNTP time synchronization and TSAA. Each communication channel provides 500VDC isolation protection to prevent external electrical interference from affecting the safety control logic. Built-in comprehensive self-diagnosis and front panel LED status indicators support rapid fault identification. Designed to maintain safety integrity during data transmission, it will not interfere with the SIS safety interlock function. As a legacy critical spare component, it is supplied as fully-tested surplus and refurbished units for maintenance and retrofit of existing Triconex Tricon safety systems.
