GE Spectra RMS SELA36AT0150 Molded Case Circuit Breaker
Product Description
The SELA36AT0150 is a 3‑pole molded‑case circuit breaker from GE Spectra RMS SE150 frame series, rated 150A, 600V AC, bolt‑on mounting design. It adopts solid‑state RMS‑sensing LSI electronic trip unit, providing long‑time overload, short‑time delay and instantaneous short‑circuit protection. With high interrupting capacity up to 100kA@240V, 65kA@480V, 25kA@600V AC, it is current‑limiting type and UL/CSA certified for industrial 3‑phase power distribution systems. Interchangeable rating plug allows field adjustment of ampere rating without replacing whole breaker frame.

Product Features
- 3‑pole, 150A continuous current, maximum operating voltage 600V AC
- Electronic LSI trip: long‑time overload, short‑time delay, instantaneous short‑circuit protection

- Power panel and switchgear protection for petrochemical, mining and water‑treatment plants
- Commercial building main distribution and data‑center low‑voltage power system
- Generator output circuit protection and combined load centre applications
- OEM equipment power protection for heavy‑duty industrial machinery
Common Problems & Troubleshooting
- Breaker trips frequently under normal load: Verify actual operating load does not exceed setting value; check rating‑plug matches required current; inspect cabinet over‑heating or poor ventilation; rule out loose connection causing over‑temperature.
- Cannot reset after trip: Move handle fully to OFF position then switch back to ON; check for persistent short‑circuit or ground fault on downstream load circuit; inspect internal mechanical damage.
- Over‑heating at terminals: Tighten cable lug torque to specification; check cable conductor cross‑section matches rated current; inspect oxidation or burning marks on terminals and busbar.
- No trip under overload fault: Confirm correct rating‑plug installation; verify trip parameter setting; check trip unit hardware integrity; do not modify internal components.
- Accessory (shunt trip / auxiliary switch) malfunction: Check accessory wiring and control‑supply voltage; confirm correct mechanical assembly of auxiliary attachments.
- Mechanical operation stuck: Check foreign dust or debris inside breaker housing; avoid excessive mechanical impact; replace unit if internal mechanism is burnt or damaged by short‑circuit fault.
