Product Description

The GE Vernova MULTINET-FE is an industrial hardened serial-to-Ethernet communication converter for power utility and automation systems. It converts Modbus RTU signals from RS485 IEDs to Modbus TCP/IP, equipped with both 10Base-T RJ45 copper port and 10Base-F multi-mode fiber ST port for long-distance, high-immunity fiber networking. It can connect up to 32 Modbus RTU field devices, widely used for GE Multilin protection relays and power meters. This legacy communication gateway is supplied as new surplus or fully tested refurbished spare parts for substation, power plant and industrial SCADA retrofit projects.
