Product Description    

   EMERSON EPRO A6312 is a microprocessor-based dual-channel speed and keyphasor monitoring module, belonging to Emerson EPRO MMS6000 and CSI 6500 machinery protection rack system. This plug-in rack card receives pulse signals from eddy current proximity probes (PR642x series) or Hall-effect speed sensors (PR9376), precisely measuring shaft rotational speed, zero-speed state, rotation direction and key-phase reference pulse for rotating equipment. It adopts fully galvanic isolation design between sensor input, 24VDC power supply and control output circuits to eliminate ground loop interference. The module supports a maximum measuring speed up to 65,535 RPM with high measurement accuracy of ±1% full scale, and provides dedicated -26.75VDC sensor excitation power with short-circuit and open-circuit protection for transducers. Equipped with multi-color front-panel LED status indicators for power operation, channel faults and alarm status, it reserves a dedicated Config interface for local parameter setup via AMS configuration software. The conformal coated PCB adapts to industrial cabinet environments with operating temperature ranging from 0°C to +65°C, complying with CE and API 670 machinery monitoring standards. Standard backplane bus communication enables seamless data upload to DCS, PLC and plant SCADA systems for centralized equipment health management.

  • Q: The module frequently triggers overspeed false alarms while the actual shaft speed is stable?
