Yokogawa ADV151-S50 is a high-density 32-channel galvanically isolated digital input module belonging to Yokogawa FIO (Field Input/Output) series, fully compatible with CENTUM CS3000 and CENTUM VP distributed control systems. It collects standard 24VDC binary ON/OFF signals from field devices including limit switches, proximity sensors, equipment status feedback contacts, fault alarm switches and local push buttons. Each group of channels provides group-to-backplane galvanic isolation with 1500VAC dielectric strength to eliminate ground loop interference and heavy electromagnetic noise in industrial plant environments. The S50 version is a basic standard digital input variant without SOE (Sequence of Event) timestamp capture function; the E50 model is selected when millisecond-level event sequence recording is required. The module supports dual redundant communication bus configuration for high-reliability control units, with a fast signal scan cycle to ensure real-time state acquisition of field digital points. It supports three wiring modes: spring pressure-clamp terminal block, MIL connector cable and dedicated AKB331 signal cable for flexible field wiring layout. The PCB is coated with conformal coating for dust, moisture and corrosive gas resistance, operating stably within 0°C ~ +60°C cabinet ambient temperature, powered by 24VDC backplane power supply of FIO base unit. Multi-color LED indicators on the front panel display module running status, general hardware faults and channel group abnormal alarms for quick on-site maintenance diagnosis.
