Product Description

The Relcom F802 is an 8-channel isolated FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 power supply module, used with F890 backplane system. It provides conditioned, galvanically isolated power for 8 FF H1 segments, with built-in short-circuit protection, bus termination and fault alarm function. It supports simplex or redundant load-sharing operation, widely deployed in DeltaV and other DCS fieldbus networks for oil & gas, chemical process plants.

Q: What is the difference between F801 and F802?
A: F801 is 24V / 350mA per segment; F802 is higher power 30V / 500mA version for segments with more field instruments.

Q: Can F802 work alone without F890 backplane?
A: No, F802 is the power module, it must be installed on F890 carrier baseplate to complete 8-segment fieldbus power system.

Q: Does it support Profibus PA?
A: It is mainly designed for FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1; Profibus PA uses similar physical layer but normally matched with dedicated PA power modules.
