CACR-IR-20SB Yaskawa CACR-IR Series AC Servopack Servo Drive
Product Description
CACR-IR-20SB is Yaskawa old-generation CACR-IR series single-axis AC servo drive (Servopack), 2kW rating, designed to match Yaskawa USAFED series low-speed high-torque servo motors such as USAFED13FS2. It is a legacy analog servo amplifier used in YASNAC CNC machine tool systems, supporting speed and torque closed-loop control. This drive receives analog command signals from CNC controller and drives the corresponding F-series servo motor for machine feed axis motion control.

Key Features
- 2kW rated capacity, AC200V input, analog command interface for CNC position loop control
- Compatible with Yaskawa USAFED heavy-duty low-speed high-torque servo motors
- Analog speed / torque control mode, matched with incremental encoder feedback
- Built-in overcurrent, overvoltage, overload, overheat and encoder fault protection
- Front panel status LED indicators for power, alarm and servo ready signals
- Vertical cabinet rack mounting, compact metal housing for CNC control cabinet installation
- Obsolete legacy Yaskawa R-series servo; original production long discontinued, available only as surplus NOS or refurbished spare parts
Application Scenarios
- Old YASNAC CNC lathes, machining centers and special machine tools
- Heavy-duty feed axis control for metal cutting and forming equipment
- Legacy automation equipment using USAFED series Yaskawa servo motors
- CNC retrofit and spare replacement of old Yaskawa analog servo systems
FAQ
Q: Which motor matches CACR-IR-20SB?
A: It pairs with Yaskawa USAFED series servo motors, such as USAFED13FS2.
Q: Is CACR-IR-20SB digital bus type drive?
A: No, it is an older analog servo drive using analog ±10V command signal, not fieldbus control.
Q: Is this servo drive still in production?
A: No, the CACR-IR series has been discontinued many years ago, only refurbished and surplus spare units available for maintenance.
