Product Description

The F-BASE RACK01 is the 19-inch 4U main base rack for HIMA HIQuad X H51X safety instrumented system. It integrates a built-in backplane bus, providing slots for F-CPU 01 processor, F-PWR power supply, F-COM communication and safety I/O modules. This SIL3 certified rack forms the core chassis of HIQuad X safety system, designed for installation in control cabinets and supporting redundant safety architecture for process industries.

Key Functions

  • Provide mechanical mounting slots and internal backplane bus for H51X series safety modules
  • Realize high-speed data exchange between CPU, power supply, communication and I/O modules
  • Distribute redundant 24VDC power to all plugged safety modules
  • Support system hardware hot swap for I/O modules during operation
  • Offer EMC shielding to resist electromagnetic interference in industrial environment
  • Allow connection with extension racks F-BASE RACK11 to expand I/O quantity

Common Issues & Troubleshooting

  • Module recognition failure: Dirty backplane gold fingers, loose module insertion or mechanical deformation
  • Whole rack power abnormality: Damaged backplane power trace, poor terminal wiring or blown fuse
  • Backplane communication error: Vibration loosening, dust contamination or EMC interference
  • Over-temperature alarm: Cabinet ventilation deficiency, fan failure or dust accumulated inside rack
  • Intermittent module offline: Rack mechanical vibration causing unstable backplane contact
