The F3DIO20/8024 (F3 DIO 20/8 024) is a SIL3 certified conformal coated mixed digital I/O remote module of HIMA HIMatrix safety system, exclusively for SILworX engineering software. It complies with IEC 61508, IEC 61511, EN ISO 13849-1 PL e / Category 4, also suitable for railway applications. This DIN rail mounted module provides 20 channels of 24VDC safety digital inputs and 8 channels of safety digital outputs. It has dual SafeEthernet ports with built-in switch for redundant safety network topology. The PCB is protected by conformal coating, extended temperature range from -25°C to +70°C, shock resistant according to IEC 61373 Class 1B and approved for Ex Zone 2 hazardous area installation. This distributed slave I/O module cannot run safety logic independently and communicates with HIMatrix safety CPU via SafeEthernet.
