Product Description

The VXIpc‑871B is a C‑size embedded VXIbus controller developed by National Instruments (NI), belonging to the VXIpc‑870B series. It occupies two slots inside a VXI chassis and adopts a 1.26 GHz Pentium‑III processor with Intel 815E chipset, 128 MB onboard SDRAM and integrated CD‑ROM drive. It is equipped with Ethernet, GPIB, serial, parallel, USB and PCMCIA interfaces, and complies with VXIplug&play standards. The module integrates a complete PC architecture directly on the VXI backplane for high‑speed control of VXI instruments. NI has discontinued this model, and most available units on the market are refurbished or surplus spare parts for legacy automated test systems.
