Product Description

The 8237‑1247 is a Woodward ProTech‑GII triple‑channel overspeed and over‑acceleration safety protection unit with bulkhead mounting design. It adopts a 2‑out‑of‑3 voting safety architecture and receives pulse signals from magnetic pickup sensors or active speed probes. The equipment continuously monitors shaft rotating speed and acceleration of turbines and rotating machinery, and executes fast safety trip once the preset threshold is exceeded. It has an integrated display panel, local operation keys, event recording function and Modbus communication interface, built for high‑reliability safety applications in harsh power and oil‑gas industrial environments.
