Product Description

GE 350‑L‑PX‑GX‑H‑E‑N‑N‑V‑SN‑N‑N Bently Nevada 3500 Online Machinery Monitoring Rack System

Product Description

350‑L‑PX‑GX‑H‑E‑N‑N‑V‑SN‑N‑N is a complete rack‑mounted machinery protection and condition monitoring system of GE Bently Nevada 3500 series. This full ordering code defines rack size, power supply type, communication gateway, environmental rating, safety certification and wiring configuration. The system adopts modular hot‑swap hardware architecture, including power units, rack interface module, vibration monitor cards, relay output modules and communication interfaces. It collects signals from eddy‑current probes, accelerometers and speed sensors, provides continuous online monitoring and independent machine protection trips for critical rotating equipment, and meets API 670 and SIL industrial safety standards.

Product Functions

  • Real‑time measurement of shaft vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, rotational speed and bearing temperature
  • Independent alert and danger relay outputs to trigger machine shutdown for equipment protection
  • Built‑in hardware self‑diagnosis for sensor open/short circuit, module failure and power anomalies
  • Dynamic waveform capture, trend recording and historical fault event storage for post‑mortem analysis
  • Ethernet and serial data communication to transmit machine health data to DCS, PLC and System 1 monitoring software
  • Modular hot‑swap design for board replacement without system shutdown, flexible channel configuration by software

Application Scenarios

  • Steam turbines, gas turbines and generators in thermal and combined‑cycle power plants
  • Centrifugal and reciprocating compressors in oil, gas and petrochemical plants
  • Offshore platforms, natural gas booster stations and refinery turbomachinery packages
  • Large‑size fans, pumps and rolling mills in metallurgy, mining and chemical industries
  • Critical rotating machinery requiring API‑compliant online protection and condition monitoring

Common Problems

  • Fluctuating or unstable measured readings: Probe contamination, incorrect probe gap, poor shielding grounding or strong electromagnetic interference.
  • Continuous sensor fault alarms: Damaged extension cable, corroded connectors, wire short‑circuit or probe aging degradation.
  • Communication interruption with host monitoring system: Faulty network cable, wrong IP address or protocol parameters, failed gateway module.
  • Nuisance false trips or missing protection action: Improper alarm threshold setup, signal noise or internal circuit drift of monitor boards.
  • Intermittent rack faults and overheating alarms: Dust accumulation, cooling fan failure, blocked air vents or unstable power supply output.
