Product Description

Schneider VDM01D10AQ00 (MC‑4/11/10/400) Lexium Servo Drive

Product Description

VDM01D10AQ00, also known as MC‑4/11/10/400, is a high‑performance multi‑axis digital servo drive from Schneider Lexium series. Designed for high‑precision motion control applications, it accepts three‑phase 400V AC mains input and delivers high dynamic torque control for synchronous servo motors. This compact drive supports position, speed and torque operating modes, equipped with encoder feedback interfaces, configurable digital and analog I/O, and fieldbus communication ports. It adopts DIN‑rail mounting for electrical cabinet installation, used together with Schneider motion controller for complex multi‑axis synchronization, electronic cam and gantry applications. Parameters setting, commissioning and firmware upgrade are completed via Schneider motion configuration software.

Common Problems & Troubleshooting

  • No power indication after power‑on: Check three‑phase 400V AC input voltage, cabinet fuse and terminal wiring; verify DC bus voltage; inspect control power supply 24VDC loop status.
  • Drive reports over‑current fault: Check motor cable short‑circuit or insulation damage; verify motor name‑plate parameter matching; reduce acceleration/deceleration ramp; inspect mechanical jamming on load side.
  • Encoder feedback error alarm: Inspect encoder cable integrity and connector locking; check wiring pin assignment; verify encoder type parameter setting; eliminate ESD surge damage on feedback circuit.
  • Motor vibration or unstable speed operation: Optimize position‑loop and speed‑loop PID gain parameters; check mechanical coupling and load resonance point; confirm encoder signal quality.
  • Cannot communicate with motion controller: Verify fieldbus wiring and termination resistor; check node address and baud‑rate configuration; confirm firmware compatibility between drive and controller.
  • STO safety circuit fault alarm: Check STO loop wiring and interlock contact status; verify safety input signal level according to hardware manual.
  • Spare‑part replacement mismatch risk: Use exact model VDM01D10AQ00; confirm power rating and feedback option match original system; perform motor parameter auto‑tuning and full commissioning after replacement.
