Reliance MCIM-2 S-D4043-D is a CompactPCI standard motion interface master module developed by Reliance Electric (ABB Baldor-Reliance), matched with PSC7000 industrial motion control platform. It serves as the core SERCOS communication and PG encoder signal processing card, integrating 5 independent axes of encoder pulse input and high-speed SERCOS bus master communication function. It collects two-phase 90° differential pulse + Z-phase zero mark signals from servo motor encoders, executes high-precision position closed-loop calculation, and realizes real-time synchronous control of multiple servo drives through SERCOS optical bus. Two MCIM-2 cards can be installed in one PSC7000 rack to expand up to 10 axes of independent motion control, widely used for multi-axis synchronous tension and positioning control of papermaking, metallurgical slitting and coating production lines.
