Key functions include: Multi-function protection logic (overcurrent/instantaneous overcurrent, under/over voltage, frequency protection, phase imbalance, earth fault detection); advanced power metering (V, I, kW, kVAR, kWh, power factor, THD) with 0.2% accuracy class; configurable protection settings (time-delay curves, pickup values, reset characteristics) via front-panel HMI or GE EnerVista software; built-in communication interfaces (Ethernet, RS-485, IEC 61850 GOOSE/MMS) for SCADA integration; 8 configurable digital inputs (24 VDC) and 8 Form C relay outputs for interlocking/control; event recording (1000 events) and fault waveform capture (10 cycles) for post-fault analysis; and self-diagnostics with LED status indicators for health monitoring. The relay also features galvanic isolation (2500 VAC) between input/output circuits and control logic.
