The TRICONEX 2381 is a high-reliability pulse input baseplate, a core component of the TRICONEX Trident safety instrumented system (SIS), engineered to provide a secure and isolated interface for connecting pulse input modules (such as PI3381) to the Trident SIS backplane. Designed for SIL 3-certified safety applications, this baseplate delivers stable signal transmission for high-speed pulse signals from field devices (flow meters, encoders, turbine speed sensors) in oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, and power generation facilities. Built with TRICONEX’s patented triple modular redundant (TMR) architecture, it eliminates single points of failure, while robust channel-level isolation (2500 V AC) and strong EMI immunity ensure stable operation in electrically noisy industrial environments.
