Product Overview

TRICONEX 3401 is a high-performance controller module developed by Emerson based on the Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) architecture, specifically designed for safety-critical industrial environments. Its unique three-mode redundancy technology, through the parallel operation of three independent processors and combined with the Majority Vote voting mechanism, can detect and isolate single or double point faults in real time, ensuring that the system can still operate continuously and stably in the fault state, meeting the SIL 3 (IEC 61508) safety certification and ATEX explosion-proof standards.

The three physically isolated processor modules execute the control logic synchronously. The risk of single point of failure is eliminated through the voting mechanism, and the system reliability is improved by more than 90% compared with the traditional dual scheme.
