The CPU board includes a microprocessor and RAM memory, a real-time clock, LED indicator lights, INIT buttons, and a CompactFlash interface.

The base plate of the PM851A controller features two RJ45 Ethernet ports (CN1 and CN2) for connecting to the control network, as well as two RJ45 serial ports (COM3 and COM4).

Please note that the PM851/PM851A is limited to only one Ethernet (CN1) port, and thus no redundant Ethernet is provided.

One of the serial ports (COM3) is the RS-232C port with a modem control signal, while the other port (COM4) is isolated and used to connect the configuration tool.

With a unique sliding locking mechanism, the DIN rail is easy to install and remove. All baseboards are equipped with a unique Ethernet address, providing hardware identification for each CPU.

This address can be found on the Ethernet address label on the TP830 baseboard.
