Woodward 9905-970 LinkNet 6-Channel 100Ω RTD Input Module
Product Description
The 9905-970 is a Woodward LinkNet LON-based I/O module, equipped with six 100 Ohm RTD temperature analog input channels. It collects temperature signals from RTD sensors and transmits data to the main turbine governor controller via LinkNet bus. It is a dedicated expansion module for Woodward turbine control and governor systems, widely used for temperature monitoring on steam turbines, gas turbines and generator sets.

Features
- 6-channel 100Ω RTD temperature acquisition input
- LinkNet LON communication bus interface for interconnection with Woodward main controllers
- 24V DC power supply, built-in surge and transient protection
- High-precision temperature measurement for bearing, stator and pipeline monitoring
- DIN rail mount design, suitable for control cabinet installation
- Supports distributed signal collection in turbine control systems
- Diagnostic function for channel fault and sensor break detection
Application Scenarios
- Steam turbine and gas turbine governor control systems
- Power plant generator bearing temperature monitoring
- Oil system, cooling water pipeline temperature measurement
- Petrochemical and energy prime mover control cabinets
- Woodward 505 / MicroNet series distributed I/O expansion projects
FAQ
Q: What sensor does this module support?
A: It is designed for 100Ω RTD platinum temperature sensors.
Q: What communication bus does it use?
A: LinkNet LON bus, dedicated for Woodward governor I/O modules.
Q: What is the difference between 9905-970 and 9905-971?
A: 9905-970 is 6-channel RTD analog input; 9905-971 is 16-channel 24VDC discrete input module.
Q: Can it work independently without a Woodward main controller?
A: No, it needs to communicate with Woodward governor main unit through LinkNet bus.
