Product Description

The GE IS420YDIAS1B (YDIA) is a safety-certified discrete contact input pack for GE Speedtronic Mark VIe and Mark VIeS turbine control and functional safety systems. It provides 24 dry contact input channels with floating wetting supply for ground fault detection, paired with compatible terminal boards such as IS410STCIS2A. It supports 1ms Sequence of Events (SOE) timestamping and dual redundant IONET Ethernet communication, designed for high-reliability safety interlock and turbine protection loops in power generation and oil & gas facilities. It is a critical spare part for maintenance, replacement and retrofit of Mark VIeS safety racks.

Product Functions

• Collect 24-channel dry contact signals from E-stop buttons, limit switches, relay auxiliary contacts and field sensors
• Built-in floating wetting power supply for each channel to detect open circuit, short circuit and ground fault
• 1ms high-precision SOE timestamping for event recording and post-fault analysis
• Dual IONET Ethernet ports for redundant communication with Mark VIe / Mark VIeS controllers
• Opto-isolation and signal filtering to suppress EMI interference inside high-noise turbine cabinets
• Channel self-diagnosis and fault status upload to the control HMI and alarm system
