F3501030 HIMA HIMatrix SIL3 Compact Safety Controller
Product Description
The F3501030 (F35 010 30) is a SIL3 certified compact programmable electronic safety controller from HIMA HIMatrix series, complying with IEC 61508 and PL e per EN ISO 13849-1. This DIN rail mounted integrated safety controller is equipped with 8 analog input channels, 24 digital input channels, 8 digital output channels and 2 high-speed counter channels. It has 4 built-in SafeEthernet switch ports and multiple fieldbus interfaces, working under 24VDC power supply within 0~60°C operating temperature range. It can independently execute safety logic without separate CPU, and supports distributed safety network architecture for field safety protection.

Key Functions
- Run SIL-rated safety logic locally for safety interlock and protection functions
- 8 analog input channels for 4-20mA / 0-10V process signal collection from transmitters
- 24 digital input channels to receive emergency stop, limit switch and sensor status signals
- 8 digital output channels for driving safety solenoid valves, safety relays and alarm devices
- 2 high-speed counter channels for pulse signal measurement and position monitoring
- 4 integrated SafeEthernet ports and multi fieldbus interfaces to build redundant safety network
- Continuous hardware and channel self-diagnosis, outputs will switch to de-energized fail-safe state on fault or communication loss
- Support configuration, online monitoring and fault diagnosis by ELOP II engineering software
Application Scenarios
The F3501030 compact safety controller is applied in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Burner Management (BMS) and Fire & Gas (FGS). Widely used in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, thermal power and offshore platforms, especially suitable for decentralized safety control and cabinet space limited sites.
Common Issues & Troubleshooting
- Cannot connect online: Wrong IP address, damaged Ethernet cable, switch fault or ELOP II firmware version mismatch
- Analog input reading deviation: Transmitter wiring fault, signal interference or calibration drift
- Digital input signal unstable: Loose terminals, 24VDC power fluctuation or contact bounce of field switches
- Digital output no actuation: Load overload, short circuit or safety interlock logic triggered
- Intermittent communication drop: Cabinet overheating, mechanical vibration or unstable network connection
