Product Description

086444-003 is the ABB Bailey INFI90 Multi-Function Processor (MFP) printed circuit assembly, a core rack-mounted CPU controller card for INFI90 DCS distributed control system. This legacy processor executes continuous process control logic, PID loops, data acquisition and INFI-NET network communication. It fits in standard INFI90 module rack slots, works together with I/O, termination and power modules such as 086345-504 and 086351-003 we previously covered. This is a discontinued legacy spare, widely used in power, petrochemical and chemical process plants.

  • Program lost after power outage / RTC reset: Replace aged lithium backup battery; confirm control logic saved to non-volatile flash memory; backup strategy should be maintained for all control configuration files.
