The GE GF868 is a DigitalFlow™ series ultrasonic mass flowmeter for flare gas produced by the Sensing and Measurement Division of GE Industries. 

It can measure flare gas, exhaust gas, etc., and can measure flow velocity, volumetric flow rate, mass flow rate, and real-time average molecular weight.

 The flow velocity range is 0.03m/s - 85m/s. And it is bidirectional, with a range ratio as high as 2750:1.

High measurement accuracy: The flow velocity accuracy is generally ±1% to ±2% of the reading. After calibration, the accuracy can reach ±0.5% of the reading, and the repeatability is ±0.2% to ±0.5% of the reading.

Advanced technology: Utilizing patented Correlation Transit-Time ™ technology, digital signal processing technology and precise molecular weight calculation methods, 

it is not affected by gas components and can adapt to gas measurement with multiple components and variations in composition.

Easy installation: The system consists of a pair of sensors, a preamplifier and an electronic instrument. The sensors can be installed on the measuring tube or directly on the pipeline by hot drilling or cold drilling. 

The instrument part can be up to 300 meters away from the sensors.

Easy maintenance: No moving parts, no openings or conduits, suitable for gases containing impurities and moisture, no daily maintenance required.
