AAP3798102‑00030 Cameron Compressor Control Panel
Product Description
AAP3798102‑00030 is a dedicated operator control panel manufactured by Cameron for centrifugal and reciprocating compressor control systems. It integrates an LCD display, membrane keypad and embedded processing unit in a rugged IP65 enclosure. This unit serves as local HMI for compressor skids, collecting field sensor signals, executing protection logic, and communicating with DCS or PLC systems via Modbus RTU/TCP. The hardware is built for harsh oil‑and‑gas environments with wide temperature tolerance and strong anti‑interference capability.

Product Functions
- Real‑time monitoring of compressor pressure, temperature, vibration, rotating speed and flow data
- Local manual operation for compressor start‑stop, load/unload and set‑point adjustment
- Compressor anti‑surge protection, over‑temperature and over‑pressure interlock protection
- Alarm detection, fault message display and historical event logging
- Modbus communication to exchange operating data with remote control and monitoring systems
- Parameter configuration, calibration and offline fault diagnosis on site
Application Scenarios
- Onshore and offshore natural gas compressor packages
- Oil field gas gathering and pipeline compression stations
- Refinery and petrochemical plant process compressor units
- LNG production, storage and gas boosting systems
- Industrial gas compression and power plant auxiliary air compressor skids
Common Problems
- LCD screen blank or flickering: Unstable 24VDC power supply, backlight aging or loose internal wiring connectors.
- Keypad no response: Membrane keypad wear, moisture ingress or keypad circuit board corrosion.
- Loss of communication with DCS: Damaged shielded cable, incorrect Modbus address or strong field electromagnetic interference.
- Frequent false compressor alarms: Sensor signal drift, terminal oxidation or internal analog circuit degradation.
- Alarm log missing or parameters reset automatically: Internal backup battery depletion, flash memory failure or sudden power interruption.
