The HIMA X-DI3201 is a safety-certified, high-density 32-channel digital input module engineered for HIMA's safety instrumented systems (SIS) and industrial automation platforms. Certified to SIL 3 per IEC 61508 and IEC 61511, this rugged module provides reliable, fault-tolerant digital signal acquisition in harsh industrial environments (-20°C to 70°C). It captures discrete on/off signals from safety sensors, limit switches, pushbuttons, and alarm contacts, converting these signals into digital data for safety-critical logic processing in HIMA HIMax/HIMatrix controllers. Featuring channel-to-channel galvanic isolation, built-in diagnostic capabilities, and fail-safe design principles, it ensures dependable detection of safety-related events and compliance with global safety standards. Ideal for mission-critical applications where human safety and asset protection are non-negotiable, it serves as a foundational component in chemical, oil & gas, power generation, and pharmaceutical industry safety systems.
- 32 independent, galvanically isolated digital input channels supporting 24V DC (sinking/sourcing) discrete signals with 5ms response time
- SIL 3 certification (IEC 61508/61511) with safe failure fraction (SFF) >99% and diagnostic coverage >99% for safety-critical operations
- Configurable input de-bounce time (1ms to 1000ms) per channel to eliminate false triggers from mechanical switch bounce
