Product Description

Product Model: GE IS200SCLTH1A Terminal Board (Mark VI Turbine Control System)

1. Product Description

IS200SCLTH1A is a dedicated signal terminal board designed for GE Mark VI gas and steam turbine control systems. It serves as the intermediate wiring interface between field sensing devices, actuators and core control processor modules. Equipped with multiple screw terminal blocks, built-in signal filtering resistors, surge suppression circuits and internal signal routing traces, the board features reinforced industrial PCB material with anti-corrosion coating. It is installed inside the turbine control cabinet, matched with corresponding control core boards via flat ribbon cables, provides electrical isolation for low-voltage analog and discrete signals, and complies with power plant EMC, vibration and temperature standards for long-term stable operation under heavy industrial working conditions.

2. Core Product Functions

  • Provide standard screw terminals for field wiring connection of analog signals, digital inputs and relay output circuits
  • Transmit field measurement and interlock signals to main control boards through matched ribbon cable connectors
  • Built-in RC filter circuits to suppress high-frequency electromagnetic noise from power plant equipment
  • Integrated transient voltage suppression components to protect internal control circuits from lightning and grid surge damage
  • Classified signal wiring layout to separate analog low-voltage lines and high-power control wiring to reduce interference
  • Support quick disconnection and maintenance of field loops without removing core control cards from rack slots
  • Conduct basic circuit shunt and signal distribution for turbine temperature, pressure, vibration and valve feedback signals

3. Application Scenarios

  • GE Mark VI gas turbine control cabinets for combined cycle thermal power plants
  • Steam turbine generator monitoring and interlock control system terminal wiring racks
  • Industrial on-site gas turbine power generation skid control panels
  • Petrochemical plant self-generation turbine unit safety monitoring cabinets
  • District heating power station boiler and turbine auxiliary signal distribution systems
  • Offshore power generation turbine control and field signal wiring equipment

4. Common Problems & Troubleshooting

Q1: Unstable fluctuating analog readings transmitted to control board

A: Tighten loose screw terminals; clean oxide and dust accumulated on terminal metal contacts; check damaged internal filter resistors on PCB surface.

Q2: Signal communication loss between terminal board and main control module

A: Reinsert ribbon cable connectors fully; inspect broken internal wiring of flat cable; clean oxidation on board edge connectors.

Q3: Random false interlock alarms triggered without field equipment faults

A: Confirm proper separation of signal and power cables; replace failed surge suppression components on the terminal board; check cabinet ground wire reliability.

Q4: Localized PCB burnout or short-circuit after grid voltage surge

A: Inspect burnt traces and damaged electronic components on board; replace the whole terminal board if circuit is irreparable; add external surge protectors for field incoming lines.

Q5: Terminal screw cannot clamp wires firmly leading to intermittent signal disconnection

A: Replace rusted or deformed terminal screw fittings; trim broken wire strands before wiring; regularly clean terminal blocks during unit overhaul cycles.
