MTL 8910-PS-DC Installation Guide Summary

           Wiring Diagram Explanation

Terminal Block Configuration (Front Panel):

  • Input Terminals (L/N/PE): Connect 100-240 VAC (L=Line, N=Neutral) or 120-370 VDC (L=Positive, N=Negative). PE (Protective Earth) must be grounded for safety.
  • Output Terminals (+24V/0V): +24V (positive output) connects to instrument power input; 0V (common ground) connects to instrument ground terminal. Use twisted-pair cables for output wiring.
  • DC OK Relay Terminals (NO/NC/COM): NO (Normally Open) closes when output is stable; NC (Normally Closed) opens when output is stable. COM (Common) for relay circuit completion (for remote monitoring).

           Installation Precautions

Electrical Safety

  • Disconnect input power before wiring or maintenance.
  • Ensure input voltage matches the module’s rated range (AC/DC not mixed).
  • Ground resistance must be ≤ 4 Ω for PE connection.

Mechanical Installation

  • Mount on standard 35 mm DIN rail (EN 50022) in a vertical position.
  • Leave ≥ 10 mm clearance on all sides for heat dissipation.
  • Avoid installation near heat sources or corrosive gases.

Operation & Maintenance

  • Check LED indicators after power-on: Green (Power OK) = normal operation.
  • Do not exceed maximum output current (10 A) to prevent overload protection triggering.
  • Clean the module surface periodically to avoid dust accumulation.

Environmental Requirements

  • Operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C (no condensation).
  • Relative humidity: 10% to 90% (non-condensing).
  • Altitude: ≤ 2000 m above sea level (derate 1% per 100 m above 2000 m).

           Quick Troubleshooting
