Product Brief Description
Honeywell CC-SCMB02 is the memory backup battery module for Experion PKS C300 controller (CC-PCNT01 / CC-PCNT02). It supplies backup power to controller memory when main power fails, preserving control strategy, alarm logs, trend data and runtime parameters, avoiding data loss and re-download after power outage. It is installed together with C300 controller in the same control chassis.

Q: What is the difference between CC-SCMB02 and CC-PWRR01?
A: CC-PWRR01 is rack redundant 24VDC power supply; CC-SCMB02 is only memory battery backup module for C300 controller internal RAM data retention.
Q: Can C300 run without CC-SCMB02?
A: The controller can run normally when power is on, but all runtime data and unsaved logs will be lost once power cuts off, and the strategy may need reloading.
Q: Is CC-SCMB02 end of life?
A: It belongs to legacy C300 accessory. Honeywell C300 controller series is in legacy support phase. Spares are available as new surplus and fully tested refurbished units.
Q: What is the common failure?
