Woodward 5501-1432 Dual Channel Actuator Control Module
Product Description
The Woodward 5501-1432 is a dual-channel actuator drive module for Woodward MicroNet TMR turbine control platform. It provides high-precision proportional drive signals for hydraulic or electro-hydraulic actuators, receives setpoint commands from the main controller, and feeds back actuator position signals for closed-loop regulation. It is widely used in steam turbine, gas turbine and compressor control cabinets for power plants and petrochemical facilities.

Features
- Two independent actuator drive channels, each channel supports position feedback closed-loop control
- Max output load current 200mA, fast response time ≤ 1ms for high dynamic valve regulation
- Supports RS485 communication interface to interact with MicroNet main control board
- On-board channel diagnostics, short-circuit, open-loop and actuator fault detection
- Rack-mounted slot installation, powered by system backplane, hot-swap capable
- Status LED indicators for power, communication, channel active and fault alarm
- Industrial wide temperature and anti-vibration design, suitable for turbine room harsh EMC environment
- Matched with proportional hydraulic actuators for steam/gas turbine governing valves
Application Scenarios
- Woodward MicroNet TMR 5009FT fault-tolerant steam turbine control system
- Gas turbine, compressor and generator set governing valve control
- Power plant, chemical plant and refinery critical turbine control cabinets
- Hydraulic actuator closed-loop drive and position monitoring
- TMR control rack maintenance, spare parts replacement and system retrofit
