Moog G123-817-006 LVDT Oscillator Demodulator Module
Product Description
The Moog G123-817-006 is a general-purpose LVDT oscillator and demodulator board, upgraded version of G123-817-002. It is designed for series opposed 4-wire LVDT displacement sensors, widely used in Moog servo hydraulic control systems. It features improved common-mode noise rejection, stable excitation output and high-precision signal demodulation. This legacy Moog electronic module is stocked as spare parts for steel mill, test bench and hydraulic servo system maintenance and retrofit.

Product Functions
- Generate adjustable excitation oscillator signal for 4-wire opposed LVDT sensors
- Demodulate AC feedback signal from LVDT and convert to standard DC output signal
- Support adjustment of oscillator level, frequency, phase, zero point and span
- Enhanced common-mode noise suppression for strong electromagnetic interference environments
- Provide accurate displacement feedback signal for servo valve closed-loop control
- Conformal coating and compact PCB design for installation inside servo control cabinets
Application Scenarios
- Moog servo valve and hydraulic closed-loop motion control systems
- Steel rolling mill, hydraulic press and material test bench equipment
- Aerospace and automotive multi-axis simulation test rigs
- Power plant turbine hydraulic actuator position monitoring
- Spare replacement and repair of existing Moog LVDT feedback control units
FAQ
Q: What is the upgrade relation of G123-817-006?
A: It is the improved successor of Moog G123-817-002, without 3.5/8.0V oscillator selector switch.
Q: Which LVDT type does it match?
A: It is configured for series opposed 4-wire LVDT displacement transducers.
Q: Is this module still in original production?
A: It is an obsolete legacy Moog module. We supply new surplus and fully tested refurbished units.
Q: What are common failure symptoms?
A: No excitation output, unstable DC feedback signal, zero drift, servo loop oscillation, loss of position feedback.
