Emerson 1C31194G03 is Ovation (ex-Westinghouse) valve positioner electronic module for Ovation DCS distributed control system, belongs to the same series with 1C31194G01 and 1C31194G02. It receives 4-20mA setpoint command from Ovation controller, collects LVDT valve position feedback signal to realize closed-loop stroke positioning of electro-hydraulic or pneumatic regulating valves. This version has different LVDT excitation parameters compared with G01/G02, must match corresponding LVDT sensor and personality module. It integrates comprehensive hardware self-diagnosis function, can detect LVDT open/short circuit, feedback loss and module internal faults. It adopts single-slot plug-in design for Ovation I/O rack, suitable for power plant and large continuous process control.
