Product Description

0GH-AI300 is the B&R 0GH series 16-channel voltage analog input module, a discontinued legacy PLC I/O card for B&R 0GH automation rack system. It is designed for acquisition of analog voltage signals from industrial process transmitters and sensors. It is compatible with BP200, BP201, BP210 base backplane plates. This module is widely used in packaging machinery, textile, printing and semiconductor auxiliary equipment control systems as spare part.

Common Issues & FAQ

  • Analog signal drift / unstable readings: Check field cable shielding and grounding; inspect terminal block for oxidation or loose wiring; verify cabinet temperature and check for aging input circuit capacitors on PCB.
  • Individual channel no reading: Test input channel continuity; check for overvoltage damage on the channel input protection circuit; inspect backplane connector pins for oxidation.
  • All channels show zero value: Check module 24VDC auxiliary supply; verify backplane bus communication; confirm module address and hardware configuration in B&R programming software.
  • High noise on analog channels: Confirm differential wiring is correctly implemented; separate analog signal cables from high-power motor/drive cables; check common mode ground potential difference.
  • Refurbished / replacement unit note: After installation into 0GH base plate, perform module configuration in B&R programming software. Carry out channel calibration, test all 16 voltage input channels with signal source, validate bus communication before putting machine into production. Inspect electrolytic capacitors for aging on refurbished modules.
