MRA4 is a multifunctional numerical directional feeder protection relay under Woodward HighPROTEC series. It supports True‑RMS and DFT measurement algorithms, and provides abundant configurable protection, metering, control and disturbance recording functions. This device is available in door‑mount or 19‑inch rack‑mount housing options, with flexible I/O channel combinations, local LCD keypad HMI, multiple industrial communication interfaces. It is widely applied for medium‑voltage feeder, generator and network protection, configured and diagnosed via free Smart View‑SE PC software. • Incorrect measured electrical values: Verify CT/VT secondary wiring condition; confirm CT/VT ratio parameter matches actual instrument transformers; check for short‑circuit or loose terminals.
• Unexpected protection trip or false alarm: Review protection setting parameters and directional polarizing source configuration; check external digital‑input interlock signals; download disturbance record for fault analysis.
