• Voting Mechanism: The three processors continuously communicate with each other over a high-speed, proprietary bus called the TriBus.

• Fault Tolerance: The TMR architecture provides true fault tolerance, meaning the system can withstand multiple component failures without a loss of safety function.

• Online Repair: The 5101S2, like other Triconex modules, is hot-swappable. This means it can be replaced online while the system is running, without shutting down the process.
