TRICONEX 3009X is an enhanced main processor module (UMP) of Schneider Electric's Triconex Tricon CX series safety instrumented system (SIS).

 It is a highly reliable triple modular redundancy (TMR) safety controller specifically designed for industrial critical systems. Here is its detailed introduction:

Hardware architecture: It adopts a triple-redundant 32-bit dual-core processor, such as the Intel Xeon E5-2690v3, with a main frequency of 2.6GHz, 

paired with 32GB DDR4 memory and 240GB SSD storage, ensuring powerful data processing capabilities and fast instruction execution speed.

Performance parameters: Supports up to 96 I/O points and can be connected to various sensors and actuators;

 It is equipped with 2 Ethernet interfaces, 2 RS-232 interfaces and 1 USB interface, supports multiple industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP and OPC UA, and can conduct high-speed data exchange with DCS/SCADA systems, 

edge devices and cloud platforms.

Redundant design: Continuing the iconic TMR architecture of Triconex, three independent processors execute critical computing and control functions in parallel. 

The correctness of the results is ensured through a three-to-two voting mechanism. Even if one or two processors fail, the system can still operate seamlessly and continuously, eliminating the risk of single point of failure.

Triconex is a brand under Schneider Electric, providing products, systems and services for safety, critical control and turbomachinological applications.
